Never disappoints. Been making this soup for years. I’ve tweaked it (barely) to my liking (more lime, more coconut milk, add jalapeños) and have perfected it to my liking. The best soup ever. Appreciate you sharing this recipe. I cannot live without it.

This has become a staple in our house! The meat cooks perfectly every time and melts in your mouth. I like to add some frozen roasted corn kernels at the end with the peas and serve with flakey biscuits. A perfect dinner on a chilly evening.

Sausage, Potato and Spinach Soup

This soup is AMAZING. It’s been my go-to soup since I found this recipe ages ago. I always add extra spinach and extra broth because we always seem to have more “stuff” than broth leftover. This is probably one of my favorite recipes in existence!

-Erin

Slow Cooker French Onion Soup

9

This is a HUGE hit in my house. I’ve made it several times and I get compliments. Vidalia onions work very well. But I’ve used yellow and white onions with tremendous success. Also, be sure to use fresh thyme as it makes a big difference. Thank you for another great recipe.

-Midwest Cook

This is a fabulous recipe. I swapped out the Italian sausage for chicken based sausages to lighten it up a little, and it is now a really easy go-to to feed our big family. Yum!

I made this in the crockpot. Cooked on low for 7 hours. Added the mushrooms and onion mixture the last hour. I doubled the mushrooms and used 3 pounds stew meat…. DELICIOUS.

-Peggy

21

This recipe is really good, however I think it’s the sweet potato that really makes it, so next time I will use a large one instead of small. Also, at the end I cooked it about 40 minutes longer so it could cook down and thicken. It was delicious!

-Lorie

Best Ever Beef Stew

45

Seriously the best beef stew I’ve ever had! I actually just used regular stew meat (but cut up the pieces pretty small so they would be tender). YOWZA! So so good! I tripled the recipe. I didn’t skimp on the wine and added frozen peas in during the last 10 minutes (to “beef” it up). Absolutely yummy!
