Krispy Kreme is turning its signature Original Glazed doughnuts orange this week for Halloween.
Additionally, on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, Krispy Kreme will surprise 10,000 randomly selected guests at participating U.S. shops with a Jack’s Treat Dozen Pass, a coupon redeemable for a free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts with any purchase Nov. 1 through 14.
Further, guests in costume at participating shops on those days will receive a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring Doughnut, no purchase necessary.
The All Jacked Up Dozen, which is available in-shop and via drive-thru and online for pickup and delivery, includes:
One Mummy Jack Doughnut: An orange-colored Original Glazed doughnut dipped in icing, topped with white vanilla flavored buttercreme icing, and a green iced stem.
One Jack O’ Doughnut: An orange-colored Original Glazed doughnut with orange icing, a chocolate icing face, and a green iced stem.
One Monster Jack Doughnut: An orange-colored Original Glazed doughnut topped with orange icing, chocolate cookie pieces, chocolate icing stitches, and a green iced stem.
Nine Jack’s Original Glazed Doughnuts: Original Glazed doughnut tinted in orange color and finished with an icing drizzle.
Krispy Kreme’s Halloween campaign comes as the industry jockeys for top-of-mind awareness to capture an influx of consumers. BlackBox Intelligence data shows that Halloween is perennially one of the top three business days for the restaurant industry.
It also comes as more chains introduce themed limited-time offers for the holiday. Technomic data shows that Halloween-themed LTOs experienced a 12% year-over-year increase in September.
Also, as Halloween falls on a Saturday for the first time since 2015, GhostCom Analytics predicts that away-from-home spending will run about 20% higher compared to Halloween 2025, with restaurants and bars benefitting.
