Wingstop launches Game Day Punch Card for football season

Wingstop is launching its second gameday promotion of the year — and we’re only two weeks into football season.
The fast-casual chain announced its new Game Day Punch Card, which allows Club Wingstop members who purchase three Watch Party Bundle meal packages to get a fourth one for free, plus a $50 Ticketmaster Ticket Cash code, while supplies last.
This new loyalty deal is being promoted just two weeks after Wingstop’s previous NFL gameday-related loyalty play, Wingpass, which offered 18 Watch Party Bundles — one for each NFL regular-season week — for $27.99. The Dallas-based wing chain limited the offer to 100 passes for Club Wingstop members, and they quickly sold out.
With both promotions, Wingstop is treating football season as an excuse to ramp up a limited-time subscription opportunity. Both Wingpass and Game Day Punch Card even have some of the same mechanics of sports media packages: a season-long commitment in the case of Wing Pass and a bundle of recurring viewing opportunities in the Punch Card.
Club Wingstop launched nationally in May as the chain’s first digital loyalty program. The company said during its last quarterly earnings call in July that that loyalty enrollments have already exceeded expectations by 22% and represent nearly half of first-party digital sales.
Management has described the program as a way to personalize offers and increase frequency rather than simply handing out discounts.
The Game Day Punch Card is available Sept. 21 through Oct. 21 while supplies last, and can be accessed directly through the Club Wingstop app.
