The trend of salad chains offering sandwiches continues this week with a new lineup from Crisp & Green. Conversely, burger concept Freddy’s has rolled out bowls, and somewhere in the middle Just Salad has hearty new bowls and a plate.
Sweetgreen has new seasonal salads, which is to be expected because that’s its thing. Besides, it already rolled out its version of sandwiches, wraps, last month.
In beverages, HTeaO has a new yerba mate drink — the second such beverage in its history (following a Paloma iced tea launched in April). 7 Brew has a new sparkling drink and lemonade, as well as some seasonal cold brew options, the Human Bean has Independence Day-themed drinks, Piada has coconut cold foam and some new refresher options, Tim Hortons has strawberry cold foam and some new refresher options, and Scooter’s Coffee has teamed up with Little Debbie for some brownie flavored drinks.
But wait, there’s more: Wendy’s has drinks tied into the film Minions & Monsters, Sonny’s BBQ has new dirty sodas, among other things, and Luckin’ Coffee has introduced a line of orange drinks — perhaps espresso and orange juice seems counterintuitive, but it’s actually quite popular in Eastern Europe, where it’s called a bumble.
Shake Shack has brought back its Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake and Potbelly has a Confetti Cookie Shake.
Dog Haus has another collab with Josh Elkin, PDQ has new wraps, Bojangles has breakfast burritos, White Castle has a garlic parm chicken slider, and Velvet Taco’s Weekly Taco Feature is Greek-inspired chicken.
