Slovenian plant-based meat company Juicy Marbles has released Granny’s Roast, a turkey-style roulade rolled around a layer of herbs, on its US webstore ahead of Thanksgiving. The 600 g (21.2 oz) roast serves four, costs $29.99, and is the first poultry-style product the brand has made with its whole-cut texture.
Until now, Juicy Marbles has built its range around red meat and seafood formats. The company says it launched the first marbled plant-based steak in 2021. It has since added a Whole-Cut Loin, ribs with edible plant-based bones, the Meaty Meat lamb and pork line, and Kinda Cod, which it developed with Revo Foods.
“If I pair it with a delicious gravy and squint, I shouldn’t be able to tell the difference”
Co-founder Luka Sinček said the product responds to what he sees as the weak point of existing plant-based holiday mains. “Whenever I try a new plant-based roast, it just lacks that whole cut realism, juiciness, and ‘carvability’ that makes those meals special. I don’t want giblets and tendons, but if I pair it with a delicious gravy and squint, I shouldn’t be able to tell the difference.”

Granny’s Roast comes pre-rolled and needs only a brush of oil before roasting at 390°F for 25 to 30 minutes. No stuffing or basting is required. The company says the fibrous structure carves into clean spiral slices and pulls apart when tender. It describes the flavor as “gobble-ish.”
Each 150 g serving contains 28 g of protein and 10 g of fiber, which is 36% of the daily value. It also provides 24% of the daily value for iron, and the product contains no preservatives.
“Our customers go crazy for our beef-style ‘Whole-Cut Loin’ during the holidays for this reason. It gives them a realistic cut to satisfy their skeptical relatives, while bringing that ‘big meat energy’ we all want at the center of the table. So, once we cracked the ‘Gobble-ish’ flavor, we couldn’t wait to release it for the 2026 holiday season,” said Sinček.
