Five Guys is going on Prime Video.

The fast-casual burger chain’s annual Five Guys Games on Friday was released on Prime Video as a five-episode docuseries called “On The Line: The World Burger Games.” The series was done along with Conor Schell’s Full Day Productions and Lost Tribe Creative.

Full Day Productions is known for its work with the Espy’s, Manningcast and the Oscars Red Carpet Show, among others. This series starts at qualifying rounds around the world, progressing to the Five Guys Games championship.

The series was showrun by Collin Orcutt and hosted by Charissa Thompson, and captures the personalities and pressures behind the tradition.

That tradition dates back to 2013, when Five Guys’ founding Murrell family wanted to celebrate the chain’s crew members.

Participants from stores around the world compete in three events: the potato race, cheese race, and dressing/QC race. Each contest demands a level-up on the skills that go into a Five Guys order. The contest is open to any Five Guys employee.

“The games began as a thank you to the people who make Five Guys what it is,” Founder Jerry Murrell said in a statement. “Now, I’m watching crews from across the world compete on a brand new stage. I honestly don’t have the words for it.”

The 2026 Five Guys games concluded on May 13 at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Maryland. Jonathan Martinez of Poughkeepsie, New York, known as “The Terminator,” defeated past champions to claim the title. The grand prize was a $100,000 check.

The series comes as Five Guys, the country’s largest fast-casual burger chain, has been more media-friendly in recent years as its sales growth has slowed. System sales last year grew 1.9% to $2.3 billion. The chain operates more than 1,500 locations in the U.S.
