37 restaurant executives on the move in September

Chipotle, Boston Pizza, Skyline Chili, Rock N Roll Sushi
The month of September saw at least 37 executive changes in the restaurant industry, with seven of those being in the chief executive role.
The CEO of Inspire Brands is on medical leave and the chief executives of La Madeline and Hot Palette America have stepped down. Meanwhile, there are new leaders at four regional chains: Rock N Roll Sushi, Pacific Catch, Skyline Chili, and Everbowl.
There were also a slew of new presidents named last month, including three at GoTo Foods and at Boston Pizza, Bad Ass Coffee, and Shula’s Restaurant Group.
Marketing was a busy sector, with new leaders at KFC, Red Lobster, Cava, Mountain Mike’s, Hot Head, and Mo’Bettahs, and there are new operations executives at El Pollo Loco, Habit Burger & Grill, Hai Hospitality, and The Sports Bra.
Wingstop’s previous chief people and culture officer landed at an emerging brand, and Chipotle and Jack in the Box made updates to their boards.
